The moment I heard James Gunn was gonna write and direct a Superman film, I knew he was gonna knock it out of the park. This is the most comic accurate world of Superman up to date, while still giving you a bit of nostalgia of the late greats Richard Donner/Christopher Reeves Superman. Dig the way this new DC universe opens itself up, without really trying to set up upcoming characters and films. Solid story, everyone played their characters to the T. Nice opening start of the new DC universe and Superman!
