Predator: Badlands

More is said and spoiled on this week episode of the podcast but here’s a spoiler-free review.

I don’t know if director Dan Trachtenberg went to college and studied the predator universe, but please don’t change his vision. Keep him creating as long as possible, because he turned this franchise around in the right direction. I dig the way he turned it around without having to really connect these three films all the way. Making sort of an anthology series that have a bit of connecting tissue between them. Such an good film that for the first time focus on a Yautja character as a protagonist instead of the Villian (Unless you count the AvP films). Dig the fact he used elements from the alien films without it being a fully crossover. Highly recommend if you are a fan of the predator franchise. More importantly prey and Predator: Killer of killers.
