This issue kinda dragged with the focus on Elena double crossing blade, in which made me realized that the double-cross itself made no sense. She was gonna die against Pontious alone. I liked the fact that Dracula is really not this first Vampire as he’s portrayed in lore but instead more of a well known politician for vampires. Leaving blade with an ultimatum to not be a victim to his fear of the outcome of what happened in Blood Hunt. I was more interested in Pontious story of him as a man in ancient Rome. Hopefully with get a good showdown between Blade and Pontious.
